BLOCK FANDUEL.

Untilt blocks FanDuel on your iPhone with Apple's Screen Time technology — app and website stop loading while a wall is up, free for an hour at a time, longer with Pro. FanDuel's own timeout and self-exclusion controls work on your account; here's what they cover and what they can't.

What FanDuel's own tools do

FanDuel offers deposit limits, timeouts, and self-exclusion from its responsible gaming settings. Self-exclusion closes your account for a chosen term, and in several states it connects to the state exclusion list.

If you use FanDuel, set the limits. They're honored at the account level and they're the right first move.

Account tools close the account. Not the phone.

Account exclusion doesn't uninstall anything. The app is still on your home screen, fanduel.com still resolves in every browser, and the parlay ads still land. The distance between "my account is closed" and "I placed a bet somewhere" is one download.

Untilt closes the device: FanDuel's domains are in the default blocklist, so the app and site stop loading on this iPhone while the wall is up — alongside every other covered book, so the action can't just slide next door.

Three ways to block FanDuel on iPhone

1 · DIY Screen Time. Free and built in: set an app limit or block the website under Settings → Screen Time. The honest part: you know your own passcode, "Ignore Limit" is one tap, and web workarounds are endless. It's a speed bump you own the keys to. Full walkthrough in why Screen Time alone isn't enough.

2 · Delete the app + restrict downloads. Deleting FanDuel helps for a night — until a two-minute reinstall. Pairing it with Screen Time's purchase restrictions is stronger, but the website still loads, and the restriction shares that same passcode problem.

3 · A timed, maintained wall (Untilt). Untilt uses the same Apple Screen Time technology — without handing you the keys. One hold walls off a maintained set of 50 wagering apps and 50 gambling sites on this iPhone — FanDuel's app and website together, alongside every other covered operator — until the end time you chose. Walls are timed: free 1-hour walls forever, longer with Pro, and mid-wall there is nothing to toggle off. No account, no card, and everything runs on the device.

60-second setup

Install Untilt, allow Screen Time when iOS asks (one permission, one time — blocking is applied on-device, and Untilt cannot read your activity), then press and hold for two seconds. The wall goes up and FanDuel stops loading until the end time on the readout. When it matters most — mid-tilt, before the game, the moment the deposit urge hits — the whole ritual is one hold.

Questions

Does this block FanDuel Faceoff and FanDuel's casino too?

The default list targets FanDuel's sportsbook and gaming domains. If any FanDuel surface loads during a wall, tell us at support@tryuntilt.com — coverage updates ship with the app.

I self-excluded from FanDuel but I keep coming back. Is that normal?

It's the most common story there is. Account exclusion leaves the doors on your phone open. Put a wall on the device layer and the reflex has nothing to open.

Does this block the website too, or just the app?

Both. A wall blocks the covered apps and the covered websites together — FanDuel's app and its domain are each in the maintained catalog, and Apple's Screen Time technology enforces both on this iPhone.

Does it work on cellular, or only Wi-Fi?

Both. The block is applied on the iPhone itself, so it holds on 5G, LTE, and any Wi-Fi network without router changes.

Can I take the wall down early?

Free walls run one hour and then come down on their own. Ending a long wall early is deliberately slow — a 24-hour wait, then a 15-second hold. Untilt never claims to be impossible to bypass; iOS gives the phone's owner final control. It claims to make the next bet slower than the urge.
