BLOCK DRAFTKINGS.
Untilt blocks DraftKings on your iPhone with Apple's Screen Time technology — the app and the website stop loading the moment you hold the wall up, for a free hour at a time. DraftKings' own responsible gaming tools work at the account level; this page covers what they do, where they stop, and how to close the phone itself.
What DraftKings' own tools do
DraftKings offers a Cool-Off Period and Self-Exclusion inside its responsible gaming settings. A cool-off suspends your account for a period you choose; self-exclusion shuts it for months or years, and in many states is wired into the state's own exclusion program.
These are account controls. They are real, they are worth using, and DraftKings honors them. Use them — and know exactly what they cover: your DraftKings account.

Account tools close the account. Not the phone.
An excluded account doesn't remove the app from your phone, the login screen from Safari, or the promo push from your feeds. The next account — yours reactivated, a new book, or a pick'em app that isn't legally a sportsbook — is a download away.
That's the layer Untilt covers: the phone. DraftKings' domains are in the default blocklist, so while a wall is up, the app and site don't load at all — no login screen to argue with.
| Screen Time | Delete the app | DraftKings account tools | Untilt wall | |

| Blocks the website | Partially | No | No | Yes, while up |
| You hold the override | Your passcode | Reinstall | Locked for the term | Not mid-wall |
| Covers other books too | Per-app setup | No | No | Every covered book at once |
| Requires an account | No | No | Yes | No |
Three ways to block DraftKings on iPhone
1 · DIY Screen Time. Free and built in: set an app limit or block the website under Settings → Screen Time. The honest part: you know your own passcode, "Ignore Limit" is one tap, and web workarounds are endless. It's a speed bump you own the keys to. Full walkthrough in why Screen Time alone isn't enough.
2 · Delete the app + restrict downloads. Deleting DraftKings helps for a night — until a two-minute reinstall. Pairing it with Screen Time's purchase restrictions is stronger, but the website still loads, and the restriction shares that same passcode problem.
3 · A timed, maintained wall (Untilt). Untilt uses the same Apple Screen Time technology — without handing you the keys. One hold walls off a maintained set of 50 wagering apps and 50 gambling sites on this iPhone — DraftKings's app and website together, alongside every other covered operator — until the end time you chose. Walls are timed: free 1-hour walls forever, longer with Pro, and mid-wall there is nothing to toggle off. No account, no card, and everything runs on the device.
60-second setup
Install Untilt, allow Screen Time when iOS asks (one permission, one time — blocking is applied on-device, and Untilt cannot read your activity), then press and hold for two seconds. The wall goes up and DraftKings stops loading until the end time on the readout. When it matters most — mid-tilt, before the game, the moment the deposit urge hits — the whole ritual is one hold.
Questions
Does blocking DraftKings also block DK Horse or DK's casino?
Untilt's default list targets DraftKings' sportsbook and gaming domains. If a DraftKings property loads while a wall is up, tell us at support@tryuntilt.com — coverage updates ship with the app.
Will DraftKings self-exclusion block the app on my phone?
No. Self-exclusion closes your account. The app itself still opens and the website still loads — Untilt closes those on this iPhone.
Can I block DraftKings but keep FanDuel?
No — and that's deliberate. The wall covers every book on the list at once. Blocking one book at a time just moves the action next door.
Does this block the website too, or just the app?
Both. A wall blocks the covered apps and the covered websites together — DraftKings's app and its domain are each in the maintained catalog, and Apple's Screen Time technology enforces both on this iPhone.
Does it work on cellular, or only Wi-Fi?
Both. The block is applied on the iPhone itself, so it holds on 5G, LTE, and any Wi-Fi network without router changes.
Can I take the wall down early?
Free walls run one hour and then come down on their own. Ending a long wall early is deliberately slow — a 24-hour wait, then a 15-second hold. Untilt never claims to be impossible to bypass; iOS gives the phone's owner final control. It claims to make the next bet slower than the urge.
